This is the Privacy Policy of StudentLoanAdvice.com, LLC and its managers, members, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, coaches, and representatives (collectively “SLA”). Our “Website” (studentloanadvice.com) is operated and managed by SLA and is made available for the sole purpose of facilitating advice and consultation regarding the management, refinancing and repayment of student loans for users who sign up for SLA’s services and choose to use the Website.
- REVIEW AND CONFIRMATION OF PRIVACY POLICY
Before you use SLA services, you should carefully review this Privacy Policy and related Terms of Use. Only submit personal information and use SLA services if you accept this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. If you do not want SLA to collect or process your personal information in ways described in the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy, you should end this session now and refrain from using the Website in the future. SLA may also collect information about how your device has interacted with our Website which helps SLA analyze users’ practices and preferences.

The Website includes features such as message boards, blogs, social networks and comment boards that facilitate the submission and publication by its users of content such as comments, questions, ideas, suggestions, photos, videos and links (“User-Generated Content”). In addition to the other policies contained herein, the following policies apply to User-Generated Content:
a. Content Policy
User-Generated Content that SLA determines, in its sole discretion, to be offensive, inappropriate or not otherwise keeping with the spirit of the Website, such as spam, advertising, off-topic content, content containing vulgar or offensive language, and content that may violate the rights of others may be removed. We also reserve the right to block users for violation of SLA policies.
b. Use Authorization
By submitting or uploading User-Generated Content on our Website, you are authorizing SLA to use, publish, and otherwise reproduce, modify and distribute such User-Generated Content with or without the User’s name or the name of your minor children in perpetuity, worldwide in any and all SLA-related media for any lawful purpose. Users are not authorized to upload or post any photos or videos of individuals other than the user without the permission of such other individuals (or their parent’s or legal guardian’s permission if a minor). All User-Generated Content will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. Any submitted User-Generated Content becomes the property of SLA without compensation to the user. SLA may reproduce such User-Generated Content freely and for any purpose. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, SLA may use any ideas, artwork, inventions, developments, or concepts embodied or contained in any User-Generated Content.
- CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
SLA may revise, modify or amend the information contained in the Privacy Policy or other Terms of Use at any time. Any such revision, modification or amendment shall be effective immediately upon either posting it to this Website or otherwise notifying you. By continuing to access or use the Website after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.

From time to time we will provide links to other websites, not owned or controlled by SLA. We do this because we think this information might be of interest or use to you or where, as a user, we can provide you with value-added services. SLA does not share or sell personal information about users with unaffiliated third parties. We may share personal information with the following entities:

- KEEPING PERSONAL INFORMATION SECURE
SLA uses appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information that we collect and process through the Website. The measures SLA uses are designed to provide a level of security appropriate to the risk of processing your personal information. Where SLA shares data with third parties pursuant to contracts with those parties. The security of your personal information provided to such third parties is the responsibility of such third-parties. SLA tracks users over time and across third party websites (such as Google and Facebook) to provide targeted advertising. SLA does not provide to third parties (other than specified herein) and third parties cannot collect any personal information from SLAs Website.
